The Earth (Soil) Of Karbala | History Of Muharram

Ashura dawned upon the Soil of Karbala

Hazrat Imam hussain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) was the sacred grandson of the holy Rasool (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) and was born to the holy daughter of the holy Rasool (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ), Bibi Fatimah (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا), and her bridegroom Hazrat Ali (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) the “Great Leo” of Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ). The infant was titled hussain. “hussain” means a part of grace. The holy Prophet (saw) himself narrated the holy Azan (call to prayer) in his ear, as is the practice for a new born Muslim baby. Throughout the night of “ashura” Hazrat Imam hussain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) kept telling the associates, “The rivals are not concerned about you but me. I grant permission to all of you to go back but all companions replied “We will live or die together with you."

Finally, the day of ashura dawned upon the soil of Karbala. It was the ultimate day when Jihad will be in full grace, blood will be shed, virtuous lives will be lost, and a definite combat will be accomplished to protect Islam and the Muslim Ummah. The water stock was cut short by the rivals as infants were weeping for water; the women were anxious for water too. The agony from the desire was too difficult to carry and in spite of this, not a sole life in the marquee made accusations or even demanded for answers. Each individual backed Hazrat Imam hussain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) genuinely and energetically. Just before the absolute fray was to take place, Huur, the former head of the rival forces, sensed his morals vigorously rousing, he was in an unrest position. Understanding the pressure of the position, he abruptly ruptured freely from Umar Ibn Sa'ad's marquee and dashed towards the holy shelter of Hazrat Imam hussain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) to enjoin his marquee.

The combat began and Hazrat Imam hussain’s associates requested permission to be granted to face
the rivals. As a result, they faced the impact of the rival physical assault. Within abridged moment Hazrat Imam hussain's associates were on the repulsive and the rivals on the protective. This created anxiety and disorientation in the rival militant camps, the 72 or more of hussain’s opposite the 5,000 of the rival (some say 30,000) being on the protective. So anxious and fearful, the rival commandant reorganized his militants not only to ablaze the marquee (which were in possession particularly by terrorized woman and infants), but at the similar time strengthened his soldiers with more units. The gallants
began to fall, they were men of bravery welcoming self-sacrifice, and they fell one after another, for the rivals were overpowering in figures. They were fighting with determination strain circumstances, merciless thirst, dehydration, tiredness, and difficult perception of what would happen to “the people of the house” of the holy Rasool (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) eventually. Hazrat Imam hussain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) encountered all that and much more, for he saw all his cherished ones mercilessly cut down to bits, especially infants. Now it was Hazrat Imam hussain’s turn to confront the rivals head on.

Hazrat Imam hussain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) was solo, one man opposite a large number. He struck them
hard, battling them courageously, and kept encountering heroically, earning numerous injuries in the
series of action to achieve the goal. Large numbers of rival soldiers were encircling him but nobody
dared to advance towards him. The dead silence was cracked when Shimr out cried for an assault
collectively and in return they assaulted collectively and to the result he earned the fatal blow and
sacrificed his life for the glory of Islam.

I am very mournful to state that they severed Hazrat Imam hussain’s noble head from the divine body, the noble & sacred, gorgeous, angelic, marvelous “Head” kissed frequently by the holy Rasool (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) and the horsemen were ordered to override upon the prone holy torso of Hazrat Imam hussain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) and all others assassinated, to distort them even more, as if the bruises, the blood-soaked torsos, and the pulverize forms were not sufficient. Shimr and his soldiers had the audacity to hoist the angelic and holy “Head of the grandson of the holy Rasool (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ)” on the peak of a spear! For numerous days the uncovered torsos of the excruciated were abandoned in the arid of Karbala. Later the general public of the hamlet of Bani-Asad, who were not at a great distance from the combat area aided to entomb them.

Umar Ibn SA’d and his troops took the women and infants as captives in self-restraints and traveled in a convoy from the desert of Karbala to the city of Kuffa. At the vanguard of the succession were the severed angelic “Head” of Hazrat Imam hussain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) and his devotees on the peaks of pierce. The Blackout act was both monstrous and deplorable. This was the remaining’s of the people of the house of the holy Rasool (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ), in such a disastrous unthinkable circumstances, all induced by a community who proclaimed to be Muslims!

Marvels of Sayyiduna Imam Hussain رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ
