Sayings Of Hazrat Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم

The sayings of Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم:
I entered into Paradise. There I saw a palace. I inquired, ‘Whose palace is this?’ Angel replied, 
‘‘Umar’s.’ I wished to enter it to have a view of it but (O ‘Umar) I avoided for the sake of your 
modesty. Listening to it, Sayyidunā ‘Umar  عَـنْهُ تَعَالٰی اللهُرَضِىَ said, ‘O Prophet of Allah! My parents be 
sacrificed for you, how can I consider any reservations in your case?’

The sayings of Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم:
 عُمَرَ مِّنۡ خَيۡرٍ رَجُلٍ عَلٰي الشَّمۡسُ طَلَعَتِمَا i.e. The sun did not rise on any man better than ‘Umar (  اللهُرَضِىَ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ).

The sayings of Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم:
All the angels of Heaven respect Sayyidunā ‘Umar ( عَـنْهُ تَعَالٰی اللهُرَضِىَ) and every
Satan (devil) on the earth trembles with his fear.

The sayings of Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم:
 مُؤۡمِنٌ يُبۡغِضُهُمَا وَلَا مُنَافِقٌ عُمَرَ وَ بَكۡرٍ اَبَا يُحِبُّلَا i.e. a true believer loves (Sayyidunā) Abū Bakr and ‘Umar (رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُمَا) and a hypocrite bears malice for them. (Tārīkh Dimashq, vol. 44, pp. 225)




The sayings of Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم:
 الۡجَنَّةِ اَهۡلِ سِرَاجُعُمَرُ i.e. (Sayyidunā) ‘Umar ( عَـنْهُ تَعَالٰی اللهُرَضِىَ) is the illuminated lamp for the dwellers of Paradise. (Majma’-uz-Zawāid, vol. 9, pp. 77, Ḥadīš 14461)




The sayings of Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم:
 الۡبَاطِلَ يُحِبُّ لَا رَجُلٌهٰذَا i.e. he (Sayyidunā ‘Umar  عَـنْهُ تَعَالٰی اللهُرَضِىَ) is the person who never likes vice. (Musnad Imām Aḥmad, vol. 5, pp. 302, Ḥadīš 15585)

Sayings Of Hazrat Umar Farooq - Islamic Quotes

A saying of Fārūq-e-A’ẓam رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ:
 The person who discloses my fault to me is dearer to me.
(Aṭ-Ṭabaqāt-ul-Kubrā li Ibn Sa’d, vol. 3, pp. 222)




A saying of Fārūq-e-A’ẓam رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ:
A bowl full of honey was presented to Sayyidunā ‘Umar Fārūq-e-A’ẓam  عَـنْهُ تَعَالٰی اللهُرَضِىَ. Holding the bowl in his hand, Sayyidunā Fārūq-e-A’ẓam  عَـنْـهُ تَـعَـالٰی الـلّٰـهُرَضِىَ said thrice: ‘If I drink it, its 
deliciousness will soon end but accountability for it will remain.’ He  عَـنْهُ تَعَالٰی اللهُرَضِىَ then gave it to 
someone else.

A saying of Fārūq-e-A’ẓam رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ:
‘Umar Bin Khaṭṭāb  عَـنْهُ تَعَالٰی اللهُرَضِىَ would sometimes extend his hands near the fire and question
himself, ‘O son of Khaṭṭāb! Do you have courage to bear this fire?’

A saying of Fārūq-e-A’ẓam رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ:
‘Recall Hell abundantly since it is extremely hot and very deep and its hammers are made up of iron (with which the sinners will be struck). (Sunan-ut-Tirmiżī, vol. 4, pp. 260, Ḥadīš 2584)




The meal of Amīr-ul-Mu`minīn, Sayyidunā Fārūq-e-A’ẓam   عَـنْهُ تَعَالٰی اللهُرَضِىَ would comprise of seven or nine morsels at most.

A saying of Fārūq-e-A’ẓam رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ:
Once upon a time there occurred an earthquake in Madīnaĥ Munawwaraĥ  تَـعۡـظِیۡـمًا وَّ شَـرَفًـا الـلّٰـهُزَادَھَـا and the earth started jolting severely. Observing that, Sayyidunā ‘Umar Bin Khaṭṭāb  عَـنْهُ تَعَالٰی اللهُرَضِىَ became furious and while striking his whip on the earth, he  عَـنْهُ تَعَالٰی اللهُرَضِىَ said, ‘ عَلَيۡكِ اَعۡدِلۡ اَلَمۡاَقِرِّيۡ O earth!
Stay still. Did I not maintain equity and justice on you?’ Hearing the infuriated order, the earth 
became still and the earthquake finished.
